Faith in Action: Practical Application for Applying the Word of God to Your Life
As we end this sermon series, reflect on a few key points from the past 14 weeks:
- Commitment to God cannot be based on how you feel.
- Self-denial brings self-control.
- Do maintenance on your flesh for your spirit to grow.
- The same urgency you gave the world, you should be giving God.
- God uses adversity to build your faith.
- The spirit of disobedience fights against the purpose of God.
- Mistakes help us change and change is necessary for growth.
- Let God stamp you and make you a success, not the world.
- God only wants you to have what you can maintain.
- What are you doing with the things God reveals to you?
Remember, life is God’s classroom. He uses it to teach you, then gives an open book test. Prove that you learned the lessons by your actions.
